Science, education and entrepreneurship are closely linked to one another, and they are considered as the keys to a wealthy and sustainable economy. The best way to turn ideas into business is to identify key innovation factors from the earliest phases all along the way to products and services.
Creating successful and sustainable enterprises is then the logical next step, which can be leveraged significantly by shaping ideas and supporting creative minds.
The EU project ResEUr has resulted in a European skill set of a Certified Researcher – Entrepreneur with a training course and a skills portal system to test and certify knowledge of professionals.

The ECQA Certified Researcher-Entrepreneur qualification and certification program covers all the key aspects that are associated with considerations upfront the process of the creation of a new enterprise, as well as with boosting the innovation power of existing ones:
- the process of shaping ideas,
- innovation transfer, knowledge networking leveraged by people networks,
- the creation of learning organisation environments,
- European and national facilitators of entrepreneurship,
- risk consideration and mitigation, etc.
Training courses and certification for ECQA Certified Researcher-Entrepreneur have been successfully performed in various countries and in an eLearning environment with tutoring by ECQA certified trainers. The courses are specifically designed
- for participants who want to gain skills how to turn innovative results into business and entrepreneurship
- who would like to improve and certify their skills.
Test & Europe-wide Certification
Participants have the opportunity to perform an online test which follows the same criteria all over Europe. Certificates are issued Europe-wide by the European Certification and Qualification Association. ECQA (www.ecqa.org) is a non-profit association joining institutions and thousands of professionals from all over Europe and internationally, providing a unified certification schema for numerous professions. Certified professionals are promoted by ECQA.
