EU Program: LEONARDO DA VINCI Expert Exchange
1998 - 2000

TOP TRANSFER is an exchange project of industry and university experts coming from five Western and Eastern European countries to improve the transnational co-operation on innovation and technology transfer. It is closely linked with the LEONARDO pilot project BESTREGIT in which the paradigms of process improvement in industry are applied for analysing, establishing and improving best practices in regional innovation transfer organisations.

An important aspect of the pilot project is to compare the different regional models, exchange know how and work on a common best practice model. This step to make it professional requires the exchange of staff as a omplementary action as it was found that the transfer of industry standards to innovation transfer organisations and universities is even more complex than it was assumed previously.
