The CROmEU project is an international project co-founded within TEMPUS Program. The main aim of the project is to improve the knowledge and capabilities for cooperation of researchers, universities and other institutions in Croatia by implementing European projects.

Project background includes a certification scheme for different jobs pertinent to today’s job market in Europe. ECQA (European Certification and Qualification Association) it provides European wide certification for job roles and follows established examination procedures to attain certification for participating applicants. Among these is the ManagEUr, the "ECQA Certified EU Project Manager", one of the most valuable training courses for people interested in participating in EU funded projects. To gain the ECQA certificate successful completion of the exam is required.
As an added service to the visitors of this site we have included information on various funding programs throughout Europe on international, national and regional levels. We have compiled this information from a number of online sources to which each sectioned is linked for further information. We sincerely hope our efforts help you in your endeavours in European Projects.
The CROmEU TEMPUS Project
Project Objectives
Objective 1:
Improvement of the qualification of teaching and administrative staff of University of Rijeka in the area of “Management of EU projects”. At least 30 people will participate at the trainings and approximately 20 of them will become ECQA Certified EU Project Manager. At least 5 people will be trained for trainers for ECQA Certified EU Project Manager.
Objective 2:
Establishment of a knowledge transfer center for management of European projects at University of Rijeka, for further help for preparation of administrative structure in Croatia for cooperation in EU community programmes. Knowledge transfer center will be formed within existing organization of university or as new organizational body. Knowledge center will train at least 75 participants (and approximately 50 of them will become ECQA Certified EU Project Manager).
Objective 3:
Definition of a unique trial course (consistent with Bologna declaration) for the topic "Management of EU projects" at University.
Objective 4:
Improvement of the cooperation among teaching and administrative staff of University of Rijeka, University of Maribor and other consortium members.
